Improv Jam
An informal gathering of improvisers to practice the ancient art of improvisation. No experience needed! Occurs first Saturday of the month.
Join us at Riverside Hotel on Las Olas for a three part improv comedy show. 7pm.
The Riverside Hotel Las Olas is located at 620 East Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301.
What is improv comedy?
It’s not stand up comedy. It’s not one lonely man musing about airplane food. It’s a group of people making up scenes, drawn from real life or audience suggestions, and “finding the funny” instead of creating it on their own.

we are
Josh Malina is the founder of New River Theater. He is a local South Floridian and long time improviser and stand up comedian. He’s passionate about building community and bringing quality improv comedy to Fort Lauderdale
